Prerequisites
- An iPad with the Ozu app installed
- An Ozu account (app.ozu.studio or sign-in in the app)
- A short scene or screenplay (Fountain, FDX, or plain text)
Get started
1
Open a project
Launch Ozu on iPad and create or open a project. You’ll start in Writers’ Room.

Writers' Room → Recording Booth
Paste or write the script, optionally workshop with Ozu, then continue to Recording Booth for voices and score.

Script Breakdown → Director Review
Run Script Breakdown, then approve cast, props, and sets at Director Review Board.
4
Storyboard → Editing Room → Export
Generate boards, assemble the first cut in Editing Room, then Export what you need.
